Aircraft Demonstration for Kids

The Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) in Bellefontaine, Ohio recently invited MRFA to conduct an aircraft demonstration for their elementary school-age students. Members from our association brought planes to display, talked with the students about how aircraft and model aircraft operate, and even flew some demonstration laps around the school field. We would like to thank Kevin Penwell from SEA for inviting us, and thanks to the students for their interest and the thank you card!

August Scale Classic

The 4th annual Columbus Scale Classic is being held on August 20th and 21st. This event is held at WMAA flying site, Dinneen field in Westerville Oh, approximately 20 minutes North East of downtown Columbus at Alum Creek State Park. Click on the link below for the event flyer:
