HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thanks to everyone that came out to the field to participate in our New Year's Arctic Flying. It was REALLY COLD... -1 F! BRRR!! We had a great time though, and we've set the bar high for the association in the coming year. More photos are posted on the photos page.

Come join us in 2018. Our association is an active club, and our members have very diverse interests in many different types of aircraft. Our membership fees are the lowest around- cheaper than taking the kids to a movie!

DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, WE WILL MEET TOMORROW, NEW YEARS DAY AT THE FIELD FOR A FLIGHT AND GROUP PICTURE INSTEAD

Join us on Sunday, 11:00 AM, December 31st for the last flight of the year! We will brave a flight in the frigid arctic temperatures, then flee for the warmth and comfort of the Grimes Field airport restaurant for lunch!

Bring something that can land in the snow- or just come to watch the 5 minutes of frigid flying and have lunch with us!

Pylon Racing Final

The pylon racers met up again for the fourth and final match up of the season today. Mike Unger easily took first in each heat, winning the season championship by a considerable margin. Dave Marenberg took second place by one point over Mark Mowrey, with Rob Crawford taking fourth. Congrats Mike!
