Wednesday Flying

Fantastic weather for flying this evening and a good turnout for our weekly Wednesday club get together. A diverse variety of aircraft took to the air, including glow planes, a gasser, combat wings, electric trainers, and a glow-powered helicopter!

We would like to thank Mr. Marvin Wethington for his gracious donation of  Eflight Apprentice parts to our flight training program.

MRFA has two prospective new members! We extend a warm welcome to anyone that would like to join. If you are looking for a safe place to fly and knowledgeable, friendly people to share your model aircraft interest with, contact us about joining Mad River Flying Association.

A Dry, Windy Sunday

A few of our members came out to the field today. The wind was gusting across the field, making landing an interesting feat, and the lack of rain and hot temperatures has turned the grass to a crispy brown. That's bad for the grass, but great for foam airplanes.
