August Scale Classic
The 4th annual Columbus Scale Classic is being held on August 20th and 21st. This event is held at WMAA flying site, Dinneen field in Westerville Oh, approximately 20 minutes North East of downtown Columbus at Alum Creek State Park. Click on the link below for the event flyer:

Rotor Challenge
Thanks to everyone that came to the Rotor Challenge despite the grim weather forecast. The rain surprisingly held off and we got some good flights in.
A special thanks is in order for Dick and Bill, who repaired the tractor and got the field looking so nice for the event.

June Meeting News
Thanks to everyone that came to the June meeting. News for this month includes:
JUNE 4th (this Saturday) is the Heart of Ohio Rotor Challenge at our field. Come out to see some awesome helicopter flying, beginning at 9:00 AM. There is a $20 registration fee and lunch for participants!
SMAC (Springfield Model Airplane Club) is having a fly-in on the same day (see the SMAC web site for location info).
JUNE 11th (next Saturday) Friends of Flight Fly-In (SEE FoF info page) at the DCAMA Club, Greenville, Ohio. Flying starts at 10:00 AM, with lunch provided at noon. For more info, call Jack at 269-599-2293.
